The Main Exhibition, the centerpiece of DESIGNTIDE TOKYO, is a group exhibition featuring creators selected through a rigorous review process. Among numerous domestic and international submissions, the participating designers are chosen by a panel of directors that includes internationally renowned design journalists.

Within spaces constructed and curated by the exhibitors themselves, a wide range of works are presented. Throughout the exhibition period, many of the creators are present at the venue, engaging directly with visitors and facilitating an exchange of ideas that sparks further creativity.

Many designers who are now active on the global stage first gained recognition through this exhibition, which continues to serve as a catalyst for new movements in contemporary Japanese design.
