COLORWAVE

COLORWAVE is a blanket that changes its pattern’s impression depending on the direction or angle from which it is viewed. The design, created using jacquard weaving, employs both wool and cotton yarns, which are woven into two layers. When exposed to heat, the wool shrinks while the cotton remains unaffected. By washing it in warm water, a naturally textured surface with raised and recessed areas is created. The raised sections incorporate a pattern made from two combined images, allowing for different expressions depending on the viewing angle.

Whether draped over the body or arranged on a chair, sofa, or bed, the pattern's impression shifts according to the shape of the item it covers. Even when casually placed, the blanket offers moments of dynamic transformation. COLORWAVE brings vibrancy and a sense of change to any space.
