Moment

This is a wall-mounted object created by bending a thin steel sheet, approximately 1mm thick, capturing the moment a piece of paper is gently placed on a table. Its geometric, almost floating form creates shadows that lend a dignified presence within the space.

The precise and tension-filled details of this product are made possible by the creators’ high-level craftsmanship. While the team specializes in sheet metal fabrication for public and industrial products, a visit to their factory revealed their flexible approach to new forms of craftsmanship and a refined skillset akin to handcrafting. This experience led to the discovery of “new possibilities in sheet metal” that only this team could achieve.

Through this process, we arrived at the design for Moment, a product that embodies both advanced and challenging techniques. It is made entirely from steel without the use of adhesives, making it a fully recyclable product.

Client: Benex Corporation "EETAL" Project
Project Scope: Exploring new possibilities in sheet metal fabrication
