Since establishing themselves in 2012, Atelier matic have worked as spatial designers, handling store designs, exhibition and event venue planning, and display designs for show windows at places like PARCO and Tokyo Midtown. As artists, they have continued to create works that explore the fusion of natural and artificial elements, such as works encasing perfume bottles in acrylic, objects made from terrazzo consisting of minerals, and lighting created from stones in their natural form. Their work has been highly acclaimed and featured in exhibits such as the 'Isamu Noguchi: Discovering the Way' exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, collaborative displays and sales at agnès b., and the '1000 Vases' exhibition in Paris and Milan.
