KOICHI FUTATSUMATA

Koichi Futatsumata is a spatial and product designer. He heads up two design studios: 'Case-Real,' which focuses on spatial design, and 'KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO,' specializing in product design. Notable works in furniture and product design include the stool 'GO' and the coat hanger '4FB,' both part of the E&Y collection, the 'SAND' chair for Tendo-Mokko, and UCC's coffee machine 'DRIP POD YOUBI.' He has also collaborated with international manufacturers, such as Finland's Artek for the 'KIULU BENCH' and Antwerp's 'valerie objects' for cutlery. His vacuum tube amplifier '22,' released in 2009, is part of the permanent collection at SFMOMA.
