KOICHI FUTATSUMATA

Koichi Futatsumata leads both CASE-REAL, focused on spatial design, and KOICHI FUTATSUMATA STUDIO, specializing in product design. His work spans a wide range, from architecture such as residential and commercial buildings to numerous commercial spaces, while also encompassing an extensive portfolio of product designs both domestically and internationally.

This exhibition presents works designed within these diverse contexts, including newly developed lighting fixtures derived from original architectural lighting created for his spatial design projects, as well as the final prototype of a new chair developed in collaboration with a furniture brand through repeated refinement. Each piece showcases the varied backgrounds and approaches that characterize his extensive body of work.
